Irma D. Haare, 93, of the Lutheran Home in Peoria, formerly of Beardstown, died at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 1997, at the home.
She was born Nov. 28, 1903, in Ipava, a daughter of C.B. “Charles” and Maggie Turilla Robinson. She married Guy Haare. He died in May 1980. One son, Donald E. Haare, one sister and two brothers also preceded her in death.
Surviving are one son, Willis “Will” Haare of Chillicothe; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She attended MacMurray College in Jacksonville. She and her husband owned and operated Beardstown Dairy Store for eight years. She was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Beardstown.
Services were held Tuesday at Sager Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Norman officiating. Burial was in Beardstown City Cemetery.
