Mrs. Dollie Reneau, 83, of 153 Fairview Place, Canton, died at 9:25 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, in Graham Hospital.
Mrs. Reneau had resided in this vicinity since 1922. She was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church at Table Grove. Born at Astoria, July 5, 1882, she was married at Lewistown, March 26, 1902, to Stephen Reneau, who died Sept. 19, 1959.
Surviving are three children, Mrs. Gladys Swick, Canton; Harry Reneau, Ipava; and Bert Reneau, Jacksonville; two grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Amanda Chambers, Mount Auburn, Iowa. Mrs. Reneau also reared Miss Sherri Swope of Peoria.
Preceding her in death were three brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon in Murphy Memorial Home in Canton with Rev. Orville L. Wright, pastor of the First Christian Church officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
