He was born Dec. 26, 1987, in Rushville, the son of Mike and Cathy Wise Phillips.
Surviving are his parents, Mike and Cathy Phillips of rural Rushville; one sister, Michel (and Keith) DeMoss of rural Rushville; one nephew, Keaton Lee DeMoss; and maternal grandparents, Nancy Wise of Rushville and Don (and Helen) Wise of Rushville.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Richard and Anna Lee Tomlinson Phillips; and one uncle, Robert Phillips.
He graduated from Rushville/Industry High School in 2006 and attended Spoon River College for two years.
He worked in sales at NAPA Auto Parts in Rushville.
In high school, he was active in sports lettering in football and baseball. He also played slow pitch softball.
Services were held Friday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with David Haney officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery.
