She was born June 16, 1922, a daughter of Homer E. and Sara C. Bradman Ward. She married Lyle H. Paisley on June 15, 1941, in Hannibal, Mo. He preceded her in death on Aug. 27, 2008.
She also was preceded in death by one sister, Marjorie Zoe Ward; and two brothers, Eugene Bradman Ward and John Hal Ward.
Surviving are two sons, Dennis Lee (and Daisy) Paisley of Santa Fe, N.M., and Dean Ward (and Rosemary Sue) Paisley of Chatham; one sister, Eunice E. Robbins of Rushville; four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker and was employed by Boehm & Sons Grocery and Robert’s Pharmacy in Rushville, and Grand Lodge of Illinois, AF & AM, in Springfield.
She was a member of Eastern Star.
Services were held Saturday at Wood Funeral Home in Rushville with David Haney officiating. Inurnment followed in Rushville City Cemetery.
Memorial may be made to Snyder’s Vaughn-Haven Nursing Home, Culbertson Memorial Hospital or Cass-Schuyler Area Hospice.
