Neva I. Parry, 94, of Beardstown died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2000, at Heritage Manor South.
She was born Aug. 27, 1906, in Chandlerville, the daughter of Alfred N. and Ethel Cook Johnson. She married Richard Parry on Nov. 10, 1927, in Cass County. He died Feb. 12, 1962.
Surviving are two daughters, Ann Brewer of Beardstown and Betty (and Bud) Briney of Astoria; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She farmed with her husband in Cass County. She later worked for the McClure Law Firm as a receptionist and the Sample Box Dress Shop, both in Beardstown.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sager Funeral Home, where the family will meet friends one hour before. Rev. Marian Stone will officiate. Burial will be in Beardstown City Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Cass/Schuyler Area Hospice.
