Naomi M. Phillips, 75, of Astoria, died at 2:26 p.m. Monday, Jan. 25, 1999, in the emergency room at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born April 16, 1923, in Woodland Township, a daughter of Jesse and Iva Ogden Welker. She married Forest E. Phillips on April 17, 1943, in Hannibal, Mo. He died March 13, 1996. Also preceding her in death were one sister and one brother.
Surviving are one daughter, Linda Phillips, and one brother, Robert Welker, both of Astoria.
She was a member of Astoria Christian Church and the Lewistown Business and Professional Women’s Club.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Gary Sheets officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Astoria Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Astoria Rescue Squad or to her church.
