Bernard Palmer

Bernard W. Palmer, 61, of Pekin, died at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, 1998, at his home.

He was born July 13, 1936, in Astoria, a son of Cletis E. and Gladys L. Neigh Palmer. He married Mary M. Spracklen on Sept. 22, 1963, in Canton. She survives.

Also surviving are one sister, Judy Moose of Cable, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

A 23-year Air Force veteran, he worked in communications, retiring on Aug. 1, 1977.

Services were held Saturday at Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin with Rev. Judy Doyle officiating. Burial was in Glendale Memorial Gardens.
