Christine Louise Parr, 82, of Astoria, died at 1:34 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 1996, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born Feb. 25, 1914, near Table Grove, the daughter of Sherman and Mabel Higbee Weber. She married Kenneth Parr on Oct. 8, 1933 in North Liberty, Ind. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Gene (Rosalie) Grove of Astoria; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one grandson and one brother.
She was a member of Summum Christian Church.
Funeral services were held Monday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Gary Sheets officiating. Burial was in Summum Cemetery.
