GROVER W. “TINY” PARKS

Grover Parks

Grover “Tiny” W. Parks, 81, of Astoria, died at 11:45 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21, 1996, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital, in Rushville.

He was born May 18, 1914, in Bluff City, a son of Manford and Lottie (Crapo) Parks. He married Frieda Jones in August of 1952. She survives in Astoria.

He is also survived by one daughter, Carol McGrew of Cimmarron, Kans.; one son, Grover E. Parks of Havana; one stepdaughter, Beverly Knowles of Vermont; one grandson; two step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild; two brothers, Worthel Parks of Bushnell and Charles Parks of Farmington.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, two half brothers and three sisters.

Mr. Parks was a laborer for the Big Lake Drainage District.

Graveside services are at 1:30 p.m. this afternoon at Bluff City Cemetery.

Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
