Mrs. Elsie M. Pasewaldt, 80, of 1239 S. 17th St., La Crosse, Wis., died Monday, Feb. 25, 1980 in a La Crosse hospital.
She was born in Mound Prairie Township, Houston County, Minn., on Oct. 13, 1899, a daughter to Frank and Bertha (Albright) Scheil. She was married to William Pasewaldt.
She worked at the Lutheran Hospital, La Crosse.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Malcolm (Darline) Clark of La Crosse, Mrs. Theodore (Dolores) von Gerichten of Middletown, N.J., and Mrs. Kenneth (Mary) Scott of Bonita, Calif.; one son, Raymond of La Crosse; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Edgar (Hazel) Albrecht of La Crescent, Minn., Mrs. Minnie Tiffany of Houston, Minn., and Mrs. Alma Riechaul and Mrs. Leona Mach, both of La Crosse; and two brothers, Herbert of St. Paul, Minn. and Leslie of Lakeland, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one sister and two brothers.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 28, at 2 p.m. in the English Lutheran Church, with Rev. Stefan Guttormsson officiating. Burial was in the Mormon Conlee Memorial Park.
Memorials may be given to the English Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Clark, daughter of the deceased, is a former Astoria resident.
