He was born Jan. 28, 1951, in Havana, the son of DeVere and Mary Grove Ogden.
Surviving are three sisters, Nancy (and Kevin) Roberts of Bryant, Patty (and Gary) Merrill of Canton and Brenda (and Chris) VanAllman of Chicago; four nieces, Aimee Roberts, Jennifer (and Isaac) Teel, Kaitlin Roberts and Jessica Merrill; and one nephew, Paul VanAllman.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Kevin Roberts officiating. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service. Burial was held in the Astoria Cemetery.
