Clinton OgdenClinton Ogden, 87, of Rushville died at 6:40 p.m. Sept. 3, 2007, at Snyder’s Vaughn-Haven Nursing Home in Rushville.

He was born Feb. 26, 1920, in Fulton County, a son of Clem and Molly Shaffer Ogden. He married Beulah Utter on Feb. 26, 1950, in Rushville. She died Dec. 12, 2005.

He also was preceded in death by one brother, Galen Ogden; and two sisters, Flossie Wise and Leona Shipp.

Surviving are one brother, Murven Ogden of Rushville; several nieces; and one nephew.

He was a farmer since age 17, after the death of his father, making a home for his mother. He retired from farming in 1999. He and his wife lived in Rushville until 1959, then moved to a farm in Woodstock Township.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church and Schuyler County Farm Bureau.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Worthington Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Arnold officiating. Burial will be in Rushville City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
