David Arnold Naff Sr., 93, died Dec. 19, 2022.David Arnold Naff Sr., 93, died Dec. 19, 2022.
He was born Oct. 11, 1929, a son of Archie and Melissa Naff. He married Dorothy Christine Rutter Naff. She preceded him in death.
He also was preceded in death by six brothers, Preston Naff, J.T. Naff, Elbert Naff, Paul Naff, Bill Naff and Harold Naff; and three sisters, Ruth Ziegler, Melba Bryant and Dianne Trump.
Surviving are four sons, Stephen (and Leisa) Naff, David (and Peggy) Naff, Darryl (and Beckie) Naff and Byron (and Missy) Naff; one daughter, Joan (and Kenny) Handy; three sisters, Helen Altizer, Joyce Moore and Lola (and Harless) Clower; 14 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, April 8, at Christiansburg Church of the Brethren. Valley Funeral Home in Roanoke, Va., is in charge of arrangements.
