Ida M. Nixon, 89, of Canton, died at 10:15 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 1995, at Graham Hospital in Canton.
She was born Aug. 25, 1905 in Rushrun, Ohio, a daughter of Harry and Letitia Creamer Belville. She married Ernest Nixon on March 19, 1924 in Stubenville, Ohio. He died June 21, 1976. One son, three brothers, two sisters, one grandson, and two great, great-grandsons also preceded her in death.
Survivors include six daughters, Leona Williams of Canton, Margie Imel, Helen Roberts and Ernestine Roberts of East Jordan, Mich., Dorothy Shaw of Havana and Patricia Robinson of Summum; 30 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; and 29 great, great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the First Church of God in Bushnell.
Graveside services will be held Friday at Brookside Cemetery, Charlevoix, Mich. Visitation will be this evening from 6 to 8 at Henry Memorial Home in Lewistown.
