Lewis Morrell, 73, of Macomb died at 7:55 a.m. March 20, 2022, at Macomb Post Acute Care Center.
He was born June 23, 1948, in Beardstown, a son of Harold Lloyd and Dorothy Brannan Morrell. He married Donna Lynn Nickerson on Nov. 26, 1969, in Rushville. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother of Huntsville; two sons, Jeff (and Sheri) Morrell of Washington, Mich., and Dean Morrell of Wyoming; two brothers, Roy Morrell of Camden and Dennis Morrell of Rushville; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father; and one brother, Frankie Morrell.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving from 1967-70 during the Vietnam War.
He was a member of the Macomb Post 1921 VFW.
Cremation has been accorded. A private funeral service will be held at a later date. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville is in charge of arrangements.
