She was born Nov. 23, 1928, the daughter of Frank and Alice Stevens Kemper. She married Archie Morgan in 1951 in Rantoul. He preceded her in death in 2003.
Surviving are her children, John (and Sandy) Morgan Bybee of Vermont, Janice (and Ron) Jackson, Deborah (and Donn) Malwick and Linda (and Randy) Rhodes, all of Springfield, and Brenda (and Leo) Katzenstein of Florida; several grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was formerly employed by the Astoria Schools in the kitchen.
Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Roselawn Memorial Park in Springfield. Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home of Springfield is in charge of arrangements.
