Johnnie Ethel Moses, 79, of East Peoria died at Fondulac Woods Health Care Center at 1:20 a.m. Monday, Sept. 13, 2004.
She was born Jan. 22, 1925, in Purcell, Okla., a daughter of John and Minnie Holcomb. She married Willis D. Moses on Aug. 25, 1945, in Purcell. He died May 2, 1991.
She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Wanda Lee Moses; one son, Lynn; one sister, Susie; and one grandson.
Surviving are one son, Harold of Waddell, Ariz.; two sisters, Mary Jane and Mabel, both of Oklahoma; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She had worked at Bower Bearing in Macomb.
She was a member of Ipava American Legion Auxiliary 17.
She was a member of Berean Christian Church in Ipava.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Yates City Cemetery with Damien Spikereit officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. tonight at Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava.
