Lynn Moses, 55, of Peoria died at 7:34 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, 2002, at Graham Hospital in Canton.

He was born Aug. 12, 1946, in Norman, Okla., a son of Willis and Johnnie Holcomb Moses. He married Elaine Derry on March 27, 1967, in Ipava. She survives.

Also surviving are his mother of Peoria; one son, Rob (and Marsha) of East Peoria; one daughter, Lisa (and Todd) Schrock of Peoria; five grandchildren; one brother, Harold (and Sally) of Waddell, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and one son, Chris Moses.

A Vietnam War Navy veteran, he was a member of American Legion Post 979 in Bartonville.

Until the time of his death, he owned and operated Lynn Moses Plumbing. He was a member of Plumbers Local 63 in Peoria for 32 years.

He was a member of Peoria Skeet and Trap Club, Ducks Unlimited, and was a member and commodore at Holiday Harbor Boat Club in Chillicothe.

Services were held today at 10:30 a.m. at Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Peterson officiating. Burial was in Summum Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Junior Football League of Central Illinois in Peoria Heights.
