Margaret Maxine Mercer, 79, of Table Grove died at 6:12 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2003, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born May 19, 1923, in Macomb, a daughter of Henry and Mary Elizabeth Friday Foxall. She married Leslie Robinson on Jan. 17, 1941. He died March 25, 1965. She married Russell E. Mercer on Oct. 27, 1979. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mary Margaret Sullivan of Columbia, Mo., and Janice Mix of Industry; one brother, Max (and Betty) Foxall of Macomb; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Ray, James, Floyd and LaVerne; and two sisters, Pearl Hillyer and Bernice Wiles.
She was a manager at Woolworth's in Macomb for many years.
Services were held Saturday at Sargent-Worthington Funeral Home in Macomb with Rev. Ron Green officiating. Burial was in Vermont Cemetery.
