David G. Mummert, 59, of Galesburg died at 6:20 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2001, at Pinewood Healthcare Center in Monmouth.
He was born Sept. 15, 1942, in Chalmers Township, McDonough County, the son of Keith L. and Louise Dean Mummert.
Surviving are his mother of Havana; and one sister, Kay (and Harley Joe) Curless of Astoria.
His father preceded him in death.
He resided at Lincoln Developmental Center in Lincoln from 1946 until 1977. He then lived at St. Mary's Living Square until his death.
Graveside services were held Monday at Astoria Cemetery in Astoria with Rev. Collis Trone officiating. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Astoria Township Cemetery Association.
