Ida M. Merrill, 92, of Renaissance Care Center died there at 9:07 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2000.
She was born Feb. 22, 1908, in Astoria, a daughter of Melvin and Tessie Herrick Lockard. She married Charles S. Merrill on June 17, 1924, in Burlington, Iowa. He died Feb. 21, 1985.
She also was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Surviving are one daughter, Joan (and Hiram) Linn of Elmwood; one granddaughter; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held Friday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with Rev. Kevin Kessler officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
