John McDonaldJohn McDonaldJohn H. McDonald, 68, of Peoria, died at 6:15 a.m. Friday, May 29, 1998, at ManorCare Health Services.
He was born July 13, 1929, in Eldorado Township, Fulton County, a son of John and Frances Brown McDonald. He married Virginia Darwent on Jan. 27, 1974, in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving is one sister, Marilyn Netzes of Pensacola, Fla.
One brother and one sister preceded him in death.
He was a Korean War Air Force veteran. He later served in the Army from 1963 to 1965. He worked in construction out of Laborers Local 165 from 1966 to 1981. He also was an Avon representative since 1984. He was of the Baptist faith.
There were no services. Cremation has been accorded. Burial of ashes will be in Vermont Cemetery in Vermont at a later date.
