Norma Lucile Mounts, 76, of Macomb died at 3 a.m. Monday, April 20, 1998, at her home.
She was born Dec. 24, 1921, in Table Grove, a daughter of Charles and Gladys Forsythe Howard. She married Wayne Mounts on Feb. 18, 1944, in Table Grove. He survives.
Also surviving are one sister, Ramona Stracker of Table Grove; and two nieces, Annette Hamm of Macomb and Debbie Carithers of Table Grove, whom she raised.
Two brothers preceded her in death.
She attended Gem City Business College. Since 1951, she was her husband’s dental assistant until her death. She was a member of Table Grove Community Church.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Ashley officiating. Calling hours will be after 1 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the family present from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Burial will be in Harris Cemetery near Table Grove.
Memorials may be made to McDonough District Hospital Hospice Program or Western Illinois University Infant and Pre-School Center.
