Russell Moose

Russell R. Moose, 89, of Berwyn, died at 11:20 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 1997.

He was born Aug. 4, 1908 in Chicago, the son of Samuel and Allie Prather Moose. He married Mary Frawley. She died Aug. 17, 1994.

Surviving are two sons, Edward Moose and Thomas Moose; two grandchildren; one great-grandson, and several nieces and nephews, including John Moose of Astoria.

A World War II Navy veteran and a retiree of the Chicago Transit Authority, he was a member of Local 241 CTA. He was an avid fisherman.

Services were held Friday at Joseph Nosek & Sons Funeral Home in Berwyn. Burial was in Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
