AUDREY A. (HEATON) McHENRY

Audrey McHenry

Audrey A. McHenry, 62, of LaHarpe, died at 9:57 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 1996, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.

She was born Jan. 2, 1934, in Vermont, a daughter of Clyde and Lois Kelly Heaton. She married Curtis E. McHenry on July 4, 1961, in Monmouth. He died Nov. 17, 1986. One brother and one stepdaughter, Charlene Garrett, also preceded her in death.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mike (Brenda) Bradley of LaHarpe and Mrs. Joe (Eva) Deck of Rushville; one stepson, Steven of Oklahoma; one sister, Rosalie Bainter of Colchester; three brothers, R. Meredith Heaton of Farmington, N.M., O. Phillip Heaton and K. Richard Heaton, both of Rushville; her stepmother, Fredrica Heaton of Rushville; two grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.

She lived in Louisiana for 18 years before moving to Rushville in 1989. She moved to LaHarpe in 1994. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Rushville. She worked as a housekeeper.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb with Rev. Dennis Brooks and Rev. Mike Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Industry Cemetery in Industry.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation.
