FREDERICA (PHILLIPS) HEATON

Frederica Heaton

Frederica Heaton, 80, of Rushville died at 9:4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, 1997, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 5, 1917, in Schuyler County, a daughter of George Samuel and Goldie Violet Skiles Phillips. She married Clyde Heaton on Feb. 4, 1939, in Monticello, Mo. He died Sept. 3, 1980. Also preceding her in death were two grandchildren, one stepson, Ivan Heaton, one stepdaughter, Audrey McHenry, two brothers and one sister.

Surviving are three sons, Phillip and Richard, both of Rushville, and Meredith of Farmington, N.M.; one step-daughter, Rosalie Bainter of Colchester; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; three brothers, William Phillips of Mount Sterling and George Phillips and Verne Phillips, both of Ray; and one sister, Mrs. Woodrow (Genevieve) Russell of Camp Point.

She was a homemaker.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Wood-Roby Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mike Cooper officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in Chockley Cemetery near Industry.

Memorials may be made to the Chockley Cemetery Fund.
