Margaret E. Marshall, 95, of Macomb, formerly of Ipava, died at 1:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 1996, at Wesley Village.
She was born Jan. 8, 1900, in Isabell Township, Fulton County, a daughter of Jesse and Ella Clanin Graham. She married John Stewart Marshall on Feb. 8, 1923, in Galesburg. He died Nov. 27, 1981. One brother also preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sisters, Ruth Marshall and Jessie Marshall, both of Macomb; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the Ipava postmistress for 43 years. She also taught in rural Ipava schools for a few years. She was a member of Ipava United Presbyterian Church and was a 70-year member of Ipava American Legion Auxiliary.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava with Rev. David Pease officiating. Burial was in Ipava Cemetery.
