Marie M. McCance, 98, formerly of Macomb, died at 8:35 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 1995, at Myers Nursing Home in Beardstown.
She was born Dec. 16, 1896, in Woodland Township in Fulton County, a daughter of Benjamin and Anna Gentzler Danner. She married Walter McCance on May 17, 1930. He died July 3, 1961. She also was preceded in death by ten brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are one brother, Delbert Danner of Rushville; and many nieces and nephews.
When she was a young woman, she worked at Bushnell Sanitarium. She was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Funeral services were held Friday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Elder Ed Butcher officiating. Burial was in Bushnell Cemetery in Bushnell.
