Floyd C. McDaniel, 86, of Bushnell, died at his home at 3 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 1985.
He was born Oct. 24, 1898, in Newark, Mo., a son of Charles and Angeline Davis McDaniel. He married Dorothy Simms on Feb. 24, 1954 at Blanco, Tex. She died Nov. 5, 1977. He later married Mary Pieper on Aug. 4, 1979 at Bushnell. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Louise Dieker of Quincy; three stepsons, Paule Keime of Smithfield, Walter Pieper of Bushnell and William Pieper of Berwyck; six stepdaughters, Carol Kelly of Ipava, Edna Smith of Macomb, Betty Connor of Adair, Dorothy Hale of Abingdon, Evelyn Goodin of Galesburg and Alice Henry of New Orleans, La.; one sister, Oma Poor of Alabama; several grandchildren; step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
He was retired from the Blue Bell factory of Bushnell and was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Bushnell.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Martin-Hollis Funeral Home in Bushnell with Rev. Stephen Storms officiating. Burial was in the Baughman Cemetery in Smithfield.
