Manford “Doc” McDonald, 98, formerly of Astoria died at 8:50 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, 1980, at Clarytona Manor Nursing Home in Lewistown.
Mr. McDonald was born Aug. 13, 1882, in Adair, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Perry McDonald. He married Amanda S. Schisler on Dec. 23, 1903. She died May 2, 1966.
Surviving are one son, Floyd of Bloomington; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and seven great, great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons and several brothers.
He was a retired carpenter.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Charles Leib officiating. Burial was in South Fulton Cemetery.
