Mrs. Edna A. Miller, 83, of 1101 Wall, Beardstown, formerly of Astoria, died at 5:55 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 1980, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
She was born Sept. 27, 1896 at Marion, Ind., a daughter of Edward and Alice Gishman Crews. She married Clarence C. Miller on Dec. 7, 1921 near Browning. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Edwin C. Miller of Beardstown, two grandsons and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and five sisters.
She was a member of the Lawrenceburg, Tenn. Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Collis Trone officiating. Burial will be in Mud Valley Cemetery.
There will be no formal visitation but friends may call Thursday afternoon and evening at Shawgo’s. The family requests that flowers be omitted.
