Mrs. Ida Moore Passes Away Monday A.M.

Mrs. Idress Moore, 82, passed away at 12:10 a.m. Monday morning in the Memorial Hospital in Springfield, where she had been a patient since July 24th, following a broken hip.

Mrs. Moore was born in Astoria, December 21, 1868, a daughter of James and Helen Carter-Linley. She was united in marriage to Lee J. Moore in March, 1887. He preceded her in death in January, 1932.

She is survived by the following children: Claire Moore, Astoria; Dean Moore, Springfield; Ralph Moore, Torrence, Calif., and Mrs. Pauline Peterman, Springfield; also seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Lucy Ashley of Galesburg.

She was a member of the Astoria Methodist church and Eastern Star lodge.

Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock, conducted by Rev. H. D. Simmons. Burial in the Astoria cemetery.

Friends may call at the Shawgo Memorial Home until hour of the services.
