Aged Brother Dies In Easton Wednesday Night

John S. McKinley, 89, of near Easton, Ill., died at his home Wednesday evening.

He was born in Fulton county on July 3, 1850, son of Calvin and Mahala McKinley. For more than 60 years he made his home near and in Easton.

Surviving are his widow, Maggie McKinley, three sons, C. D. V. McKinley, Mason City, Ill., Claude McKinley, Havana, and Ollie O. McKinley, Memphis, Mo., two daughters, Mrs. Edna Freeman, Mason City, and Mrs. Hala Onken, Memphis, Mo., three brothers, Charles McKinley, Philadelphia, Pa., Joseph McKinley, Astoria, and Fred McKinley, Galesburg, a sister, Mrs. Rebecca Markley, Astoria, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the M. E. church in Easton. Burial was in the Easton cemetery.
