Judy S. Leavitt, 75, of Rushville died at 3:10 p.m. Dec. 12, 2019, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
She was born March 10, 1944, in Macomb, a daughter of Martin Geiman and Margaret Louise Bader Kolp. She married James Leavitt. He preceded her in death.
She also was preceded in death by one infant brother, Martin Geiman Kolp.
Surviving are one sister, Linda (and Ronald) McClure of Beardstown; one niece, Tammy (and Mike) Gadberry of Meredosia; one nephew, Darrin Weishaar of Beardstown; one great-niece; one great-nephew; and one great-great-niece.
She worked for Alexander Lumber Company in Astoria and was a data entry clerk for the Illinois Department of Transportation.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Bader Cemetery in Browning with Pastor Matt Haberman officiating. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
