Peggy LyttakerPeggy Kay (Ritchey) Lyttaker, 58, of rural Rushville died at 4:48 p.m. April 7, 2015, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.

She was born Oct. 22, 1956, in Rushville, a daughter of Robert R. “Bob” and Florence Beirman Ritchey. She married Danny Lyttaker on May 5, 1985, in Versailles. He survives.

Also surviving are her mother of Macomb; one daughter, Loni Lyttaker of Bader; three sons, Jeff (and Sonie) Hill of Woodson, Russell Lyttaker of Rushville and Tim Emerick of Astoria; two sisters, Linda Davis of Alexander and Karen Taylor of Rushville; two brothers, James (and Donna) Ritchey of Macomb and Dennis (and Debbie) Welmeyer of Nashville, Tenn.; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father; one sister, Barbara Trone; and one brother, Dean Ritchey.

She was an accomplished artist. She worked at NTN Bower in Macomb for several years; worked in several machine shops in Clearwater and Oldsmar, Fla.; managed the Seed Depot feed store in Oldsmar, Fla.; and last working as a bus driver for Schuyler Counseling and Mental Health Agency.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Mr. Pat Clements officiating. Inurnment will be in the Christian Neck Cemetery north east of Rushville at a later date. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of services.
