Fred LashbrookFred Marl Lashbrook, 85, of Rushville died at 1:05 p.m. March 26, 2015, at Snyder’s Vaughn-Haven Nursing Home.

He was born March 30, 1929, in Littleton, a son of Earl and Flora Mae Lear Lashbrook. He married Coralene Jackson on Aug. 24, 1956, in Rushville. She preceded him in death on Aug. 28, 2011.

He also was preceded in death by 10 siblings.

Surviving are three sons, Thomas M. (and Diana) Lashbrook of Rushville, Clinton L. (and Julie) Lashbrook of Frederick and Russell Terry (and Lisa) Lashbrook of Beardstown; one daughter, Connie E. Beatty of Rushville; one sister, Maroy Claassen; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

He was a Korean War Army veteran.

He was a meat cutter at Bartlow Brothers Inc. for many years until retirement.

Graveside services were held Monday at Rushville City Cemetery with Rev. Greg Fish officiating. Military Honors were by U.S. Army Honors Detail and Schuyler American Legion Post #4.
