CORALENE (LORENZANA) LASHBROOK

Coralene Lashbrook

Coralene Lashbrook, 75, of Rushville died at 8:35 p.m. Aug. 28, 2011, at Snyder's Vaughn-Haven Nursing Home in Rushville.

She was born Oct. 30, 1935, in Bluffs, a daughter of Nicholas Edward Jackson and Ethel Inskip Jackson Lorenzana. She married Fred M. Lashbrook on Aug. 24, 1956, in Rushville. He survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Connie E. Beatty of Rushville; three sons, Thomas M. (and Diana) Lashbrook of Rushville, Clinton L. (and Julie) Lashbrook of Frederick and R. Terry (and Lisa) Lashbrook of Beardstown; four sisters, Norma Dyer, Irma Calhoun, Charlotte Plafences and Hazel Fingel; four brothers, Gilbert Jackson, Sam Jackson, James Jackson and Nicholas Jackson Jr.; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Betty Dober, Martha Jackson and Alice Click; six brothers, Roland Jackson, Edward Jackson, Frank Jackson, Jerry Jackson, Carl Jackson and infant Thomas Jackson.

She was a homemaker.

Graveside services were held Wednesday at Rushville City Cemetery with Rev. Rose Ross officiating. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville was in charge of arrangements.
