Geneva L. Leonard, 69, of Ipava died at 7:25 a.m. Jan. 13, 2014, at Heartland Health Care Center in Macomb.
She was born Jan. 22, 1944, in Roland, Ark., a daughter of Milford and Stella Ellison. She married Carl D. Leonard on June 18, 1965, in Geneva. He preceded her in death on Dec. 29, 1997.
She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Huber; and two sisters.
Surviving are three sons, James Shoffner of Ipava, Charles (and Lisa) Shoffner of Sandwich and Clive (and Janice) Leonard of Port Aransas, Texas; two sisters, Patsy Kimbro of Pocahontas, Ark., and Charlene (and Charles) Lemons of southern Illinois; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Ipava United Presbyterian Church.
Services were held Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava with Reverend Danie deBeer officiating. Burial was in Ipava Cemetery.
