She was born June 17, 1920, in El Dorado, Mo., a daughter of Merrel and Mildred Lowe Edsall. She married Fred G. Lasley on June 4, 1946, in Ipava. He preceded her in death on May 4, 1993.
She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Joyce Post; and two brothers, Merrell Edsall Jr. and Roy Edsall.
Surviving are one brother, D. William (and Anna M.) Edsall of Canton; one sister, Margaret (and Bill) Branson of Ipava, two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She taught school in Missouri and Iowa. She taught in the country schools of Washington and Weldon in the Ipava area and taught kindergarten at Ipava Grade School.
She was a member of Community of Christ (RLDS), Ipava American Legion Auxiliary, Ipava State Bank Board of Directors and was co-owner of Edsall Agency in Ipava with her husband.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ipava Cemetery with Elder Carol Carpenter officiating. Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava is in charge of arrangements.
