Ethel Edna (White) Lutz, 98, of Vermont died at 9:45 p.m. Sept. 3, 2011, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
She was born Dec. 9, 1912, in Pekin, the daughter of Charles and Hazel Woods White. She married Toler A. Lutz on Dec. 26, 1931. He preceded her in death on May 31, 1973.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Norman Gene Lutz; two daughters, Margie Hayes and Vera Shults; one infant son; and grandchildren.
Surviving are her children, James (and Beatrice) Landrith of Pekin; Dale Lutz, Charles Lutz, and Donald (and Rose) Lutz, all of Vermont, Elanor Williammee of Rushville, Ivy Watson of Salem, Mo.; and numerous grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday at Point Pleasant Cemetery. Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home in Macomb was in charge of arrangements.
