Delphia LidwellDelphia C. Lidwell, 91, of Lewistown died at 12:40 a.m. April 18, 2010, at Graham Hospital in Canton.

She was born Nov. 11, 1918, in Alpena, Ark., a daughter of Hugh C. and Lennie E. Clark Plumlee. She married Edward L. Lidwell on Nov. 6, 1943, in South Miami, Fla. He survives.

Also surviving are one son, David L. (and Jean) Lidwell of Canton; two granddaughters, Gayla (and Richard) Pence of Canton and KiLee (and Jason) Lidwell-McFerren of Gibson City; one great-granddaughter, Kaylynn Garner of Canton.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

She was a veteran and had served in the WAVES during World War II.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Lewistown United Methodist Church and a former member of the Order of Eastern Star and Home Extension.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown with Rev. Jerry Sawyer officiating and military services conducted by Lewistown VFW Post 5001 and Lewistown American Legion Post 1. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown.
