Nancy J. Lutz, 61, of Vermont died at 7:02 p.m. Sept. 26, 2006, at Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville.
She was born Sept. 9, 1945, in Detroit, Mich., a daughter of James and Elaine Mougin Bourke. She married Dale A. Lutz on May 23, 1986, in Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Lisa (and Jack) Gresham of Washington and Cindy Stapleton of Mattoon; one stepson, Dale A. (and Christina) Lutz Jr. of Havana; one stepdaughter, Jaquelyn (and Larry) Hammer of East Peoria; five sisters, Barbara (and Bob) Chickonski and Virginia (and Santiago) Barros, both of Lakeland, Fla., Susan Frankel of Newton, N.C., Veronica (and Dave) Thrower of Lake Wales, Fla., and Amy (and Ron) Gentry of Ashland City, Tenn.; and 12 grandchildren.
She was a telephone operator for Illinois Bell for many years. She also was a school bus driver for District 50 in Washington for 17 years.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
