Charlene "Char" Lerch, 60, of Rushville died at 1:12 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, 2006, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
She was born Sept. 8, 1945, in Vancouver, Wash., a daughter of Charles M. and Florence Anderson Ethridge. She married Don Lerch on Sept. 7, 1963, in Beardstown. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Chuck (and Missy) of Rushville; one daughter, Dawn Lerch of Rushville; one sister, Velma (and Lawrence) Bauser of Beardstown; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two grandchildren.
She was co-owner with her husband of Don & Char's Package Liquor in Rushville for 41 years, retiring Dec. 5, 2005.
She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church of Rushville.
Services were Tuesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Mike Hall officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery.
