JoAnn Lane, 76, of Chandlerville died at 6:50 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
She was born Nov. 28, 1927, in Saidora, rural Mason County, a daughter of Gustav and Nelda Keith Dallmann. She married LaVerne Lane on Feb. 23, 1946, in Chandlerville. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Riley (and Sally) of Springfield and Rick (and Nancy) of Chandlerville; two sisters, Margaret France of Astoria and Elizabeth Campbell of Bath; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A board member of the original Farm & Ranch Vacation Association of Illinois, she and her husband owned and operated Lane's Vacation Farm in Mason County.
She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Chandlerville, Salem Ladies Aid Association and Mason County Home Extension.
Services were held Thursday at her church with Rev. Brian Lesemann officiating. Burial was in Bethel Baptist Cemetery in rural Chandlerville. Hurley Funeral Home in Havana was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to her church.
