Henry S. Lafary, 90, of Table Grove, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 1997, at 8:12 p.m. at the Argyle Lake Nursing Center, Colchester.
He was born Sept. 4, 1906, in Table Grove, a son of Harry and Rosa Hamm Lafary. He married T. June Baldwin on Sept. 15, 1931, in Hannibal, Mo. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Ronald Lafary of Table Grove and Larry Lafary of Marquette Heights; two daughters, Connie Milleson and Sharon McCamant, both of Table Grove; and seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Vera Drummond of Good Hope; and one brother, Hubert Lafary of Table Grove.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Everett Lafary and and infant brother.
He was a member of the Point Pleasant United Methodist Church and was a lifelong farmer in the Table Grove area.
Services were held this morning at the Kost Memorial Home in Vermont with Rev. Mary Jo Williams officiating. Burial was in the Harris Cemetery near Table Grove.
Memorials may be made to either Point Pleasant United Methodist Church or the Argyle Lake Nursing Center in Colchester.
