Harriet V. Lester, 50, of Macomb died at 2:15 a.m. Monday, May 22, 1995 at her home.
She was born Dec. 8, 1944 in Table Grove, a daughter of Ghlee and Vera (Counselman) Brown.
She is survived by her mother, Vera Brown of Macomb; one son, Brian Lester of Kansas City, Mo.; one daughter, Bridget Lester of Kansas City, Mo.; one brother, Sherold Brown of Bushnell; four sisters, Kay Jackson of Macomb, Marcella Heaton of Adair, Alcinda Dickey of Colchester and Zelpha Lester of Blandinsville; also one granddaughter, Ashley Lester.
She was preceded in death by her father and infant brothers.
Mrs. Lester was a member of the First Baptist Church in Macomb and had lived most of her life in the Macomb area.
Graveside services for committal of the ashes will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Oakwood Cemetery in Macomb with Rev. Ron Derrig-Green officiating. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Today at the Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb where the family will meet with friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the McDonough District Hospital Hospice program.
