Jack Lamm Of Ipava Dies

Jack Lamm, 63, of Ipava died at 8:15 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, 1990 at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.

He was born Sept. 6, 1926, in Canton, a son of John A. and Myrtle (Cook) Lamm. He married Margaret DeRenzy on Jan. 15, 1947. She died March 12, 1955. He later married Iris Robertson on Sept. 24, 1955. She survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Ruth McCloskey of Ipava; two sons, Jackie D. of Cortland and David R. of Ipava; two stepdaughters, Teresa Gohde of Banner and Gloria Chambers of Glasford; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Russ of Tucson, Ariz., and Leo of Galesburg; and six sisters, Mildred McMullen of East Moline, Zelma Berra of Gassville, Ark., Lillian Kelly of Galesburg, Evelyn Hallesy of Colchester, Doris Smith of Marseilles and Phyllis Shales of Foxton, Colo.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava with Rev. Robert Yates officiating. Burial was in Ipava Cemetery.
