Rose Lybarger Dies Tuesday

Mrs. Rose M. Lybarger, 76, of Astoria, died at 12:40 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, 1980, in the Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

She was born Apr. 28, 1904 in Frankfort, S. Dak., a daughter of Rudolph and Hannah Blank Liebig. On June 21, 1925, she was united in marriage to Murray B. Lybarger in Frankfort, S. Dak. He preceded her in death on Jan. 19, 1978.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Lila Burdett of Villa Park, Mrs. Mary Butler of Astoria and Mrs. Phyllis Bloomfield of East Peoria; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

She was a member of the Astoria United Methodist Church and vice president of the South Fulton Senior Citizens.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday afternoon at the Astoria United Methodist Church with Rev. R. Bruce Weiman officiating. Burial will be in the Astoria Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria.

Those who wish may contribute to the United Methodist Church in her memory.
