Mrs. Sadie Long, 84, of Ipava, died about noon Sunday at the Astoria Care Center.
She was born Oct. 2, 1886, in Pleasant Township, a daughter of Conrad and Martha Jane Horwedel Wickert. She was married to Harvey Long on Aug. 8, 1906. He died on June 11, 1958.
Survivors include one son, Bruce, of Ipava; one daughter, Mrs. Velma Leggett of Ocala, Fla.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Alice Lalicker of Ipava and Mrs. Florence Dunblazier of Astoria.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Ipava Christian Church with Rev. J. A. Wilton officiating. Burial will be in the Ipava Cemetery.
