Robert B. Lowder, 72, of Bryant, died Monday afternoon in the Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
Mr. Lowder was born March 11, 1898, in Banner Township, a son of John and Mary Etta Williams Lowder. He was married to Jessie Shields on June 13, 1942. She survives.
Also surviving are two brothers, Jesse Lowder of Bloomfield, Iowa, and Amos Lowder of Kingston Mines; two sisters, Mrs. Jemima Woods of Canton and Mrs. Georgia Roseman of Bartonville.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the East Side Church of the Nazarene in Canton with Rev. William Beauchat and Rev. Donald Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Walnut Cemetery.
Friends may call Wednesday afternoon and evening at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria and at the church Thursday afternoon prior to the services.
